Cozy studio apartment in a quiet area

This newly renovated studio apartment of 35 sqm is on the ground floor of our villa. It has its own entrance and you have your own kitchen and bathroom. Then you also have access to a laundry room, parking space and patio with barbecue. It is fully equipped.

The room has two single beds (can easily be moved together to make a double bed) and a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide. There is a 47 inch LED SmartTV and fast internet via fiber. In the room there is also a large dining table with four chairs. Plenty of storage space. Fully tiled bathroom with wall-hung toilet, sink and shower.

The house is located in a quiet residential area close to nature. Close to forest and nice recreation areas.200 meters to lake Magelungen with swimming and access to kayaks. 5 minutes from Ågesta with golf course, riding stables, exercise and hiking trails. In winter, you can go ice skating on the lake or cross-country skiing in the new facility with artificial snow.

It is about 2 km to Farsta strand where there is a subway (23 minutes to the center) and a commuter train (14 minutes to the center). You can get there with a bus that stops about 150 meters from the apartment. Direct bus to Huddinge Hospital and Södertörn University.

You have access to a laundry room, parking space, patio with barbecue.

We have a lot of sports equipment to lend (kayak, SUP, bicycle, skis, skates, tennis, etc.).

Sometimes it is also possible to rent a car, moped or motorhome.

Together with the host, there is sometimes the opportunity to use the area's tennis court and sauna raft. Or to visit one of Djurgården's ice hockey or football matches.

I have my office in the house so I am available a lot of the time

Mellansjö is a very quiet and beautiful residential area in Huddinge. Close to beautiful natural areas and by the lake Magelungen. There is walking distance to Ågesta golf club, Ågesta riding facility, Farstanäset. There is good shopping in the Farsta mall.

Our house is located in a residential area 15 km south of downtown Stockholm. It takes 15 minutes to get there by car or 30-40 minutes by public transport. We live 2 km from Farsta Strand where you have both Tunnelbana (metro) and Pendeltåg (commuter train). If you don’t want to walk to Farsta Strand there is a bus 150 m from our house. Unfortunately it only goes every 30 minutes in the evening/weekends (4-5 times/hour during rush hours).

From the airport

The biggest airport I Stockholm is Arlanda and located 50 km north of Stockholm. 45 minutes (70 Euro) by taxi or 90 minutes by public transport (5 Euro/person). There are some faster trains (Arlanda Express or train from Arlanda Central) but these cost more.

If you fly with WizzAir you come to Skavsta Airport. That one is located in Nyköping which is 110 km south of Stockholm. From there you could take a shuttle bus to Cityterminalen (90 minutes) and then the Pendeltåg to Farsta Strand (15 minutes).
